Wifes first bass

Featured Replies

I finally got my wife out on the boat other than to tan. She was getting frustrated because the fish didn't jump in the boat. It was a true test of my patience but I enjoyed every minute of it. It was a nice three pound-er that put up a good fight for her. All in all we had a good time but I think it will be a while before she goes with me again. I know she has an Okuma in her hand I can't start her out on the Shimano's the first time out.http://www.axcessmypics.com/photos/photo02/72/3c/ec555cb91571.jpg

And you even got her to hold it.

Nice first fish.  Is she going to take claim on that rod and reel now?

Beautiful!  The fish too. ;)  Boy, if she wasn't hooked, she should be now.

That's great you and your wife get out together. Who cares if she tans, at least she's there with you. My wife and I tournament fish as partners for the last ten years. A lot of good times.

Congrats on the fish. Be carefull, Kim Bain might be in trouble.

Nice pic. Great color on that bass. Good to get the wife fishing also.

awesome man,

My wife is interested in fishing with me this year. I am hoping I can put her on some decent fish and not dinks.

WTG MarshMaster and congrats on putting your little Mrs. on the fish. She will remember that one for a long time and I'm sure you earned yourself some brownie points on it as well.
