I'm glowing this morning thinking back on yesterday's short trip to the lake with my boys, Tristan and Gavin. We started out by eliminating some dead water but then we got on a few. The story of the day was a nice smallmouth Tristan caught. Man did this brownfish fight! As many of you know, Gavin has been on here with some nice pic's before but I believe this may be a debut for his older brother Tristan.

We ended up catching around a dozen bass in just a couple hours fishing. Here's a few pic's:

We all talk about trophy fishing....Well looks like CJ caught a REAL "Trophy Day" with his boys. The memories from these adventures not only last, but mean more and make much more of a positive impact than any trophy fish could by itself. This makes our wonderful world go round and round....

These are the days that will be your and your sons memory forever.  I started taking my son when I had to carry him.  Even now he says "remember when". It always brings a smile to my face.

Hey CJ, please inform your kids about the off limits period from March 29th to April 4th. If this off limits period is not enforced, I feel like they may 'sore lip' every bass in the lake right before we get there.
