New spot, New 09 PB, Gotta Love It

Featured Replies

Went to try a new spot with a friend, I had seen this lake from afar, but never have a chance to get a small boat in this lake.  Didn't know too much about it, so it was a free for all.  Started out slow, and them about an hour or so after we got there I hooked up with a monster she jumped clear out of the water 5 to 6 times, I was freaking out untill I finally lipped her and held her up.  I didn't get a length but she must have went 25" long or more.  She weighed in at 7 lbs even, I bet she would have went 9 pre-spawn.  Still what a nice big strong healthy bass, good genetics.  I will be seeing her again.

That's a pretty fish and she definitely looks like she has the potential to carry more weight.
