daiwa dead or alive?

Featured Replies

has anybody ever used one of the daiwa dead or alive and what were your results?? i'm planning on getting the rainbow trout in the 6" version and i heard it is a good idea to put a feather hook on as the tain intsaed of the buzzbait tail. it seems like a good thing for clear water. just wondering if anybody has any input in that bait.

thanks guys

I cought this spot and Largemouth on one. It's a great bait for schooling fish.

When I first saw it, I thought it looked a bit ridiculous but I was definately intrigued and interested. Talked my buddy into being the guinea pig for the bait and he bought one and immediately had great results. He has the baby bass pattern and I watched him catch so many big fish this year on it including a 7-12 largemouth and a SIX-ONE SMALLMOUTH. He has the large version. I've used it too and caught some nice ones w/ it. Reeling it straight works but twitching it fairly slowly really makes it look like a wounded/struggling fish. I agree that taking off the buzz tail is a good option but I know my friend keeps it on always.
