A bunch of high country trips across the west! REALLY LONG< LOTS OF PICS

Really enjoyed the post!  Looks like an absolute blast.

Good times bud, good times!! Besides the massive mosquito bites and raging sunburn I'm ready to do it again.

I gotta say, between this lake and Lake K, we have seriously been spoiled in trout lakes.  I have no desire to go anywhere else.

What really sucked about the Golden lake is how crowded it became.  That was one reason we left a day early.  By the time we left, there were roughly 20 people at this tiny lake, and 8 LOUD dogs.  Kinda dissapointing with a lake like that.  Oh well, I'd still do it again.

It was probably 80 at the lake we got the goldens out of.

Man i would kill for temps in the 80s here in FL right now!

Congrats on the beautiful fish!!!!   8-)

Bizz, I thoroughly enjoyed your photo gallery.

That scenery is awesome and those trout are gorgeous!

Thanks all. Looks like I am gonna go back to the hills two more times in the next few weeks.

Matt, thats an interesting proposition. We've missed the application deadline for Colorado, but we could talk about doing an over the counter hunt..
