Swimbait  question

Intrigued by all of the discussions about swimbaits and thinking about giving them a try. What I am wondering is.....

Is there any decent swimbaits in the 3/4 to 1 ounce range? I do not have a setup for anything larger, and can't really afford to buy a new rig for swimbaits only in addition to the baits themselves. Well at least if I don't want the wife to cause bodily harm prior to next season.....

The Sebile Magic Swimmer 125 and Jackall Giron are both 3/4 oz and have caught fish for me. They aren't very big for swimbaits though.

In addition to the ones above the river2sea S-Waver in the smaller size. Most flipping sticks and medium heavy rods rated for a one ounce bait can throw Mattlures East Coast series and baby bass even though they are around 1.5 ounces. Also the Storm Kickin' Minnows in the six inch size are little over 1 ounce but can be used on regular gear. Basstrix paddletails can also be used on smaller gear.

all the new 4" baits from spro, TT, and castaic can be thrown on the gear you have

The Spro BBZ Shads, Tru Tungsten Shads, Huddleston shads, and what the others have listed. There are not many swimbaits that can be thrown on conventional gear.

Spro BBZ-1 4" and Tru Tungsten 4"are smaller baits that pack a big wallop and can be thrown on gear you probably already have (or will get for Xmas) I use my 7'6" froggin/flippin rod with 50 lb powerpro and 20 lb flouro leader. Or just 20 lb. flouro.
