Well for some very odd reason I have decided to start posting on this forum yet again. Probably because I am now inspired to start fishing regularly again. I am sure this historic event will bring some people joy and will strike fear into the hearts of other members...

Anyway I have not been doing much fishing recently. I have been out fishing about 5 times in the last 4 months. I went out yesterday with my friend Mike and fished for the first time in a month but had a great day. So I am now inspired to start going more often.

I caught this fish within the first 10 minutes of yesterdays outing... I am guessing around 2-2.5 LBS on a 6 inch purple robo casting into a deep hole surrounded by reeds.

30 minutes later I caught this nice bass that I am guessing was around 3.5 LBS out of the EXACT SAME hole. My friend Mike said this fish could have been a 4 LBer but I dont know for sure. This fish was also caught on a 6 inch purple robo....

Here is a real cool looking orange koi I caught a few months ago with corn. He wasnt that big but he put up a good fight.

This is my friend Jessica with her very first fish EVER. I told her I would teach her how to fish so I took her carp fishing one morning. We each ended up with two fish. Her fish were actually decent size while my two carp were in the 2-3 LB dink range. I almost had a heart attack watching her horse her fish in and start cranking the real when the fish was trying to take drag...

This is a deformed bass I caught. Have any of you ever seen a LMB like this before? His mouth was tiny.

No they are not these were taken yesterday. However they will look the same as older pics of mine because I have taken A LOT of pictures in the EXACT same spot. I used the trash can and the self timer to take those. That lake very small and I usually use the same trash can to take self timed pics on . You can look up my old posts if you want to check they will be same position same spot but I will more than likely have different clothes on and the picture will be slightly different.

 No, my friend . I just must have not seen the others. All the pics I remember of yours were always of something way more exotic than bass ...

Actually she is not my sister I just wanted to be a clown and say that for some odd reason. I figured no one would believe it though and meant it to be a joke. I wanted to stir up a debate! I guess photographs play tricks on the eye so we could look like brother/sister though. Shes Filipino and I am English so we are not related. Shes not my girlfriend though just a close friend I have known for a long time now....

We have a pond with alot of Koi and Carp but I can't figure out how to catch the darn things. They always startle the crap out of me when I am fishing up tight for Bass. I tried to catch them with carp bait, but just kept catching little cats.

Yes I use corn to catch those carp. I never use store made carp baits because just like store made catfish baits they do not work. Most of the time I will chum the area with some corn to attract more fish. I also use a small hook and only about 4 pieces of corn on the hooks. 4 pieces of corn covers the size of hooks I use well. I usually use 8-10 LB test spinning gear and spinning rods. I leave my bail open and let them run with the corn the same way you would if you are cat fishing. I usually only throw my bait out around 15 - 20 feet and I usually fish for them in the evening when they feed.

LOL.... well for some reason I also tend to catch other fish a lot even when I am going for bass. I caught a nice sunfish on a rapalla that day too.
