Halloween Bass 10/31/09 6.2 lbs

Featured Replies

Went out to Fayette county lake here in Texas last night and caught this guy on a Spro Bronzeye King Daddy Frog(Midnight Walker). It was a full moon and the topwater bite never seamed to stop.Caught them all night on Spro frogs and Rage Tail shads in 6 feet of water smothered in vegetation.Fished from 10pm-7am and me and my buddy caught 27 Bass.Wound up being a good trip minus thousands on little green Nat type guys sticking to everything on the boat.

Very nice!! Sometimes it pays off.  I know a lot of people who have some trouble hooking up with fish on the Rage Shad...what would you say your hookup % was?

Wow!  That's a nice bass.  She looks bigger than 6.2 lbs with that gut!

I've told my wife time and time again that we need to move to Texas, and there's proof   :)

It only weighed that much because it has a brick in its stomach!!  ;D

Very nice fish!!

Congrats! That fish has quite the belly on it.

I haven't had great hookups with the Rage Shad.I caught 4 on them Saturday and had 15 blowups.I didn't miss a fish on the Spro Frog.I think I may need to slow down my retrieve with the Rage Tail Shad because I was burning it.
