Ho... Ho... Hawg...

Featured Replies

The day after Christmas I got out on the lake to try out some new stuff.   Sure enough the first fish of the evening was a 6-1#,  she was very fat and prepared for the upcoming spawn.  After a little while later I did manage a nice 2# peacock and 5 total peacocks overall.  Then we proceeded to get 3 more nice fish in the 3 to 4# range over the next hour and a half or so. It started to get dark, and I got 1 more nice fish after dark on a crank.  One of the highlights was a 3 to 4# Channel or Blue, I can't tell the difference, on a senko, which is first for me.  Overall a very good 3 hours of fishing.  Happy Holidays everyone.

Nice football krzkev. 8-)

The time is now! I have been catching a lot of extremely fat pre-spawn pigs during this cold weather.Spinnerbaits with oversized blades slow rolled, and believe it or not the topwater bite has been crazy as well!
