The bigger fish were chew'in today...

Featured Replies

Went out on the local lake and did pretty good.  It was windy, and the bigger girls were in pre spawn feeding mode we caught 22 fish total.  1 girl that was around 5.5, and 3 fish in the 4+ range. It was very windy on the main lake and we got a few out on in the wind around structure, docks mostly, the rest of the fish were picked off in the canals.  Didn't weigh all of the fish but I would have to put our 5 best at around 19 or 20#.  Very good day.

We could set up a meeting or tourney, but there are some things that have to be organized.  You can't use gas motors in this lake, and you can't park at the boat ramp without a permit.  So it makes things difficult unless you live on the lake.  I only know of 1 other BR member that lives on this lake.  I will talk to him and see if a few of you guys could use our parking and banks to launch electric powered boats only. (strictly enforced) I will get back to everyone who sends me a message.  It will most likely take place on a Sunday.

I'll gladly ride with somebody. It's a bit of a drive for me to drag my small boat up that far. I guess it could be done if need be though. I'd be more than happy to drive anybody up there that needs a lift though.

i wish i could have access to some nice lakes like this. quite jealous.
