Featured Replies

just wondering how you guys get rid of musty smells if you get them on your plastic baits. i received a box of baits from sombody i was very happy with it, but some of the plastics have a musty smell on them.

Why not keep them until spring and use them just as they are ?

The fish may tear them up with that stank on them :D

Or mix up some mineral oil (has no odor at all) with garlic or anise and spray them or soak them.

I believe that mineral oil will turn soft plastics hard over time. Try veggy oil or even just spray some Bang or something in there.

Keep them in the box and put in a box of baking soda.  Charcoal is also an excellent odor remover, even better than baking soda. This is the type of charcoal that can be found in odor eaters or in filters used in aqauriums.  They don't call them Dr. Scholls  Odor Eaters for nothing.  BTW, I don't have smelly feat. ;D :D

Secret.  Strong enough for a man but made for a woman.

Just put some of your favorite scent on them as you use them.

I'm hooked on Chompers Garlic. Don't get any on your clothes or your wife/girlfriend will think you were cheating on her at an Italian restaurant.
