  What Im fishing on is pretty thick. Hardly is the frog in the water actually so the walk-the-dog isnt happening. Im trying to make the frog sort-of hop with a steady retrieve. This I think is what attracts them looks to make a bump on the slop causing a very little disturbance.

Ive watched some videos again and read some more threads I think I may be fishing too fast with my (steady retrieve) leading to these missed strikes.  Next Ill try the same hop that I do but with some delay in the retrieve.

   

Nice frog fish, I bought a few Spro's this year and even a dedicated frog rod. You know I still haven't fished with em yet!
