First Hippy Jig Bass

Featured Replies

I decided to go with big lures this winter instead of downsizing, just to see if it made a difference at all. This is my first big lure fish, caught on a Hippy jig with a RAGE Space Monkey nose hooked on the trailer. I didnt realize until I took the jig out of it's mouth that i didnt detach any of the claws or flappers, they were all still attached together to the body of the bait, haha. Anyways, the bass hit it hard and was hooked deep.

sorry for the pic, it was getting very dark and this was the only way I could get a visable picture.

That Hippy jig looks like a tarantula attached to the bass' head, haha......dang big, nice, jig.
