Orlando Fishing

Featured Replies

Had the pleasure to spend some time in Orlando right after the holidays and did a bit of fishing. I really got schooled by the Florida Bass. I have heard how they can shut down after a cold front but OMG I never thought it was that bad. Did manage some 3-4 lb'er and this 5lb 15oz bass. Anyway it was good to get away from the great white north for a while. Caught on 1-9-11.

Nice! I'll take that any day, but especially when it's all icy at home! Great catch!

Thats a beautiful Florida bass. Not black and sunburned on the back like most of them.  ;D

I'm jealous, Leo.  I haven't caught a five and change for a while.  Gorgeous fish right there.  Way to go.

Nice fish Leo! I wouldn't say you got schooled!
