Today was a really beautiful day outside. I went out to a local pond with my buddy for about an hour, and we both caught our first for the new year. His went 4, mine went 3. No big fish today, but all in all a nice little outing. It was really great to get "that smell" on my hands once again. I wish the weather would always be this nice!

I was trying to tell him how to take a picture. That's why I look so unhappy, LOL.

hahah that is crazy!  I was pretty happy as the lake i was fishing doesn't seem to produce many 3+lb bass...
