Hi all! I'm doing a little research for a final project in school and I'm hoping you can all help me answer a few questions. I would really apppreciate the help. Thanks in advance!

Here are the questions:

1. Do you ever attend any outdoors shows? Which ones?

2. Do you ever consult bait/tackle shop sales staff for advice?

3. Which websites do you visit for fishing information and/or advice?

4. Where else do you turn for info on the latest gear and technology?

5. Which brands do you respect the most?

6. Do you ever read the Outdoor column in newspapers?

7. Which fishing TV shows do you watch?

8. Which fishing publications do you read or subscribe to?

9. What would be your ultimate fishing experience? (Becoming a pro? A trophy fish? Fishing an exotic location?)

10. Do you typically use live or artificial bait? Please be specific as to what you use and why.

11. What do you see as the pros and cons of live vs. artificial bait? Is there a stigma about live bait? Is the bait you use reflective of your skill level? Confidence? Or just personal preference?

12. What brand/type of fishing line would you use if your life depended on it?

13. What reason would you have to move up to a higher-end line like FireLine as opposed to monofilament?

14. What brand of line do you use, and why?

15. What would you consider to be the most versatile brand of fishing line?

I sent mine.

Now can you give us a little more information on the type of project you are working on?

Sure. It's for my marketing class. Our professor wants us to get some consumer insights. Then we have to base a marketing plan around our findings.

I don't want to say what product it's for so as to not skew the results at all.

Thanks to everyone who has responded so far!

I think I could tell you what product it's for.  ;D
