Ok Im new to this forum and I would like to say hi to everybody.  Anyway I have a question, I love tubes they seem to work anytime and you can fish them alot of ways!  I was just wonderin what your guy's favorite way of fishing tubes?

I prefer slowing swimming them along the bottom. That's the way I've had my best luck.

I texas rig tubes and use them for flippin and pitchen

I'm mostly fishing shallow, weedy water. My tubes are Texas-rigged with an internal weight and lift-and-drop is my most frequent type of retrieve.

I like to skip t-rigged tubes under docks and under tree branches that hang tight to the water.

I like to skip them sometimes they will take them right off the top, flip them, swim them, or use them like a jerkbait.<~ Whichever of these work the best for the day is my favorite.

I use a lead head tube jig dipped in smelly jelly pushed up inside the tube with the bare hook showing. In the river, cast upriver most times, twitch your wrist for action and let the current push it downriver and pick up the slack with your reel and tick the rocks as you go.

Welcome bjs5, I like em with a 2/0 hook weightless, and skip them under docks let it just fluter down.

I like to Texas rig them with a brass weight and glass bead on a 2/0 EWG hook. I make a hand dipped tube for my customers that is like 7 or 8 dips and as big around as a snow shover handel. These guys rig it on a circle hook, 3/0 and drift it in slow moving rivers for monster smallmouth.

I T-rig them with a 1/16 oz weight and swim them like a jig on the edge of weedlines. I also pitch them in pockets of weed beds and into laydowns and standing timber

I prefer the traditional inserted jighead, exposed hook when feasible, but as a practical matter, it's generally T-rigged for me. Here's something to work in cover. The Mizmo Slim Jim tubes have a very thin skin. I'll T-rig them with a #4 off-set X-Point with no hook exposure. You'll need your Bill Dance hookset, but those hooks are soooo sharp they will penetrate the tube when necessary and are otherwise almost completely weedless.
