Is there a website that shows different knots to use for different lures?  I need help with how to rig up different plastic baits?  How to use trailor hooks, what colors to fish in water colors?  Is there a book you reccommend I read, a website I can look at, all help will be appreciated, I want to dive headfirst into this sport and I love reading and learning!  Thanks so much!

If there were only one website for fishing that I had to choose, it would be this one.  Your found the right site.

Diving right in is cool.  Pace yourself though.  Go out with only 2-3 new things to try or practice.  Learn them well.  Throwing everything in the box without really learning how to work different baits is counterproductive and can be costly with lost baits.  Have a plan and stick with it.

;D The best way is if you've got a friend to help you get started or make a new one. I find its easier to pickup on things if someone takes a little time and shows you instead of reading about it. Just my thoughts.  :
