Sounds like to me the battle is over before the war has started. Tell us about your last trip, where, how, what you used, wheather and lake conditions. Maybe we can figure something out or find out if you really suck ;D just kidding. How long have you been bass fishing?

::)When I'm fishing I usally have up to 10 different baits tied on and when I fish a place that I know there are fish or bait in, I'lll slow up even more and really work it hard until I can pattern them.

::)Sometimes when the bite stops, just a change in color or size will produce more strikes, but always try different type ob lure before ruling it out and also pay attention to the time and weather, these also play in as a factor.

:-/And some days, they just will not take in and just have the tail. ???

::)Just think: bank fishermen cast out far as they can and boater cast at the bank. Go figure.

:(SenkoSam, I wish they were anglers like that, but they are not many who even has a thought about that and really rather say I did this and the guy in the back did not get a bite. Its sad and hope I never get that way.Take a kid fishing and you will learn how to consider the person in the back. Me personally, I kinda like fishing out of the back, especially on windy days. :

::)Only if my wife goes with me, anytime else, I try to keep focus on what going on around me. Distractions causes alot of missed chances or possible accidents and God knows I help enough on my plate as is.

;D The best way is if you've got a friend to help you get started or make a new one. I find its easier to pickup on things if someone takes a little time and shows you instead of reading about it. Just my thoughts. :
