thanks everyone who responded to my post with good wishes and some very funny stories and painful ones to.

The doc numbed her cheek real well and he pushed it on through and then took a pair of side cutters and cut the point and barb off and then pulled it back through.   You can not even tell it happened. :)

Someone asked did she get a tetnus shot,  she did.

All is well,  but I do sleep w/ one eye open now for some reason....... ;)

We are good to go and looking forward to our next fishing trip.  Take care folks and thanks again and good fishing to all
