Can someone set me up with some good articles on drop shotting? I keep saying I'm going to try it and I never do becuase I'm not real confident on how. Thanks all,

What lakes are you fishing?    Drop shotting is going strong, but so are every other baits right now.    No secret pattern, fish are feeding up from the spawn.

A drop-shot will work anywhere you go... pretty much.  You don't necessarilly have to use light line and a little finnesse worm.  Try using bigger worms and larger line if you feel more comfortable doing that.

even flukes! and its not a straight down technique, nor just a "finesse" technique as DR kind of said.  I use it a lot when the bite is tough after fronts because it helsp me fish a little slower.  I also use it if I wanna keep my lure just off the bottom when I feel like thats working better.
