When wacky rigging a Senko type bait,do you all bend the bait in half to find the exact center or do you all just "eyeball" it. Would it make any difference in action if the o-ring was a little more to the rear or a little more forward of center?

I always bend the bait to find the exact center and insert the hook there, but many other people have the hook a little to the right or left of the center. I think it's really a matter of personal choice. Either way you'll get a lot of action when you twitch it.

most times i will fish it right in the middle by eyeballing it... however, lately i've been putting the hook a little closer to the more narrow end - doing so puts a little more wobble on the heavy end. I doubt it makes any difference, but if i were a fish i would bite it - (crazy thing is, i have yet to catch a fish wacky rigging - guess its just because i am a die hard Texas rigger) but ill try more

I like to bend to hook in the exact center.  It's just how I did it to start, and the bass seem to like it fine, so why fix what's not broken right?

Big tip to remember when fishing a senko wacky.  Do not "work" the bait.  Any action you try and give it will only alter it's natural "quivering fall".  Cast it out and let it fall on slackline like a jig.   When it gets to the bottom, give it a lift and let it fall again.  Nothing?  Reel it in and repeat.

Just buy the senko's!  Ask anyone on this forum and I bet they will all say that they are worth the money.  They catch fish and can always be melded back together with crazy glue or a match!  

I'm also a Senko_only guy.

I find the exact half and then slide a ring on it and fit in a Daiichi Wacky hook.

i just eyeball it, i get more life out of it as well cuz when one side rips or the whole in the worm gets to were the senko can just slide off i take it off and poke a whole a couple cm to the rite and then when that whole gets to big i go to the left or i  trig it, and i am very suprised that it doesnt seem to alter my results any, i dont use an o ring(probably cuz i dont know how,and if i did i probably would use it, any body explain to me how i can do this??????????/

ill get it exact but i have no success with senkos or wacky rigging yet , but it may be because there arent many bass here so dont listen to me

I fish heavy brush and normal wacky rigging won't work.  Did find these wacky worms that can be rigged Texas style and work great in brush.  At least on my local lake----fish really hit them hard and hold them.  Here is mfr web site but I found them at local Academy Sports store.

Tiki Sticks and Yum Dingers to name a few.  The tiki sticks are at wal-mart for like $3 a bag, way cheaper than Senkos and more durable.  I've caught fish on both Senkos and Tiki Sticks, hard to say whether there is a real difference but buy a few bags of each and try them out and see.

I too dislike paying that much.  Try buying Kinami, a Yamamoto Enterprises lure that works just as well.  Also, the Tiki Stick works pretty well.  Just make sure the lures are salt-impregnated.  

When waky rigging I would use the Senkos.  They're much softer which gives it the quivering action.  When I t-rig I have good results with the Senko knock offs.

I just eyball it and ry to get it as close to the center as possible.  I've tried using the whole O-ring system, but it seems that the senko looses a little of its action with the O-Ring.  Some people swear by the O-Ring, but i just prefer using as thing wire of a hook as possible and hookin it right through the center.  Although If your "Hook Set" happy like me and set on any little twitch like I do you maybe catch more bass, but It can get awfull pricery...
