Was wondering how accurate people was at pitching and how far they can pitch and still be accurate.  For me on average I can put a 3/16 oz weight on a paper plate at 30 ft everytime and occasionally hit it a little at 40 but not often I usaully come up short

I can pitch a 3/16th oz weight and land it on a golf tee 9 out of 10 times at 30 feet.   :  

Truthfully, I need to practice my pitching more often.  I still place it in an area maybe 18 inches square most of the time.  I think I could hit the plate 25 - 50% of the time.    :-/

        Most of the time I have the boat alot closer than 30 feet away, after many years of pitchin' I should be able to hit a 6 inch circle at 30.

Paper plate probably around 30 feet all the time. I go into the trees so I NEED to be accurate..

Only in the last couple months have I gotten any good at pitching for the same reason as langs15.  The honey hole I like best is about 20 feet from shore, but I need to go under a tree limb and over bushes, about a 2 ft square space.  I hit it about 75% of the time.  The rest of the time i'm in the tree or the bush.  Luckily the Berkely Vanish is some pretty strog stuff and I don't lose my rig too often.

With 1/2 oz about 25 f. max :'(

LOL I can pitch perfectly on top of a dock or into some ones boat all the time ;D. Acctualy I am getting better, I have decicated my self to beeing a good pitcher with a 7 foot rod. I dislike shorter rods very much..........that beeing said with any of my 6'6" or less rods I can put it on the money most all the time. One think that was tough to get the hang of with the longer rods was skipping baits under docks, but I got that working better for me too. What really helped me was sitting down while I skipped it.
