I you could ask Bill Dance 1 question....

Featured Replies

I would ask him where exactly are the stocked ponds he's fishin

They are called the Bienville Plantation here in Florida. They are some of the best fishing lakes in the world. They cost over $3,000 a year to fish in them as a member. They are reclaimed Phosphate pits. You can hire a guide for them for $300 per day and a suggested tip of $100. To high for me though. http://www.bienville.com/

I met him once before in a ProCraft tournament and got his autograph on a hat. He is shorter then I thought he would be. But he seemed like a good guy.

I was at the Bass Pro 500 at Atlanta Motor Speedway a couple of years ago and we had garage passes but you had to be 18 to go in there :'(. So my dad and his friend took turns going in and one staying and watching me. When my dad's friend was sitting with me Bill Dance walked by and he said do you know who that is, i said no. He told me it was Bill Dance. At the time i wasnt in to fishing so i was like who is Bill Dance? Hesigned some fans autographs but i didnt want one. He seemed like a nice guy.

Does that foot long buzzbait really catch bass, or do you catch one on a worm and then put the buzzbait in his mouth and fight it?

Can you hook me up with Roland Martin?

Nah, I'd ask him what is his fav' technique to catch fish and why.   ;D

haha yeah, what are the chances of a snake being up there?! musta been a "stocked" branch for the blooper clips.

I'de ask him what his middle name is. then i would say (for ex. David) , "I dont know, Billy boy, Will David Dance?? ive never asked him to."

sorry, im really tired. :-X

for every rod you breeak will you donate a new one to me?  im mean if te guy had to pay for ghis gear would he be more careful?  and yes the trolling motor clip was hella funny!!!!!!!!!

Don't know about the north, but in the south, you bettter be looking in the low lying branchs for snakes, cause we don't need to plant any.

Do you guys think the bees where planted also, seems like a painful blooper to get bit for the TV?

Slamming your knee into the reciever from your bumper has to sting alittle also.

My poor shin bone is just that, a bone with no meat.    Bill Dance has certainly kept us entertained even if he owns his own ponds.

hookem

matt

I would like to thank him for his contributation's to our sport and shake his hand, he has a wealth of fishing knowledge and the ability to get it across. He has entertained us, taught us, and from what I heard is still on ground level, Bill Dance would you like to come to KC for some good BBQ, on me.

If he would come down from TN and fish in South Carolina on Lake Wateree and see if he can pull out a 5lb er every cast

Ahhh WHO CARES?  His show is very informative,he is funny and humble Its not my business what is staged (if anything) Im just the viewer and he has helped me love this sport FOR THAT I REMAIN GRATEFUL ;)

Now I don't feel so bad about some of the things I have done when goin' fishin' ;D

If I met Bill Dance I'd just shake his hand and thank him for bein' him! :D

Watchin' him grab the trolling motor and having it jet off in his hand had me rolling on the floor.

Great topic, Glenn. I love Bill Dance's show because of the many things he's taught me over the years. In my opinion he is absolutely the best teacher for bass fishing out of all the other bassin' programs I've watched through the years. I sure gotta kick out of fishingrulz1234's post on this subject...that's great!  I think the one question I'd ask him is just how many miles of his fishing tapes end up on the cutting-room floor!

dont get me wrong i love the guy, and hes a part of why i love fishing.  just a little clumbsy.  yes hes funny and a classic at that!

I like the first shows with him fishing the cypress lakes and such.

I'd ask if i could tag along with him fishing one day!

I'd ask him for Hank Parker's number. ;)

j/k I'd ask him to go fishing of course.
