Wish me luck and good vibes

I am going to BPS tonight for a job fair for the new store opening in Kansas.  I am hoping to land a P/T job to finance the baitmonkey. :o

THAT MIGHT BE COUNTER PRODUCTIVE. YOU MIGHT END UP BUYING MORE THAN YOU'RE PART TIME JOB PAYS LOL.

I KNOW HOW I WOULD BE. IF I SAW ALL THAT STUFF ON A DAILY/WEEKLY BASIS I WOULD WANT IT ALL. THEN MY PART TIME JOB WOULD BECOME A FULL TIME JOB.

MY WIFE ALREADY WANTS ME TO JOIN BAIT MONKEY ANONYMOUS.

OH, BY THE WAY. GOOD LUCK.

Good luck, Huskertko!  However, if you get this job and become one of the agents of corruption for the Bait Monkey, we will no longer be able to trust you.   ;)  I assume this is the store in Olathe?  I drive by it on my way home from work in Gardner.  Soon, I'll be moving to the Sprint Campus so I won't be driving by there at that time.  Hopefully, this will help me deal with the temptation.

the temptation is going to kill me even if I don't get a job there.  I work about a mile north of the location, and I drive by it going to and from work.  It is only about 5 minute drive to get there from my office so lunch time excursions will be much more frequent than the current ones to Cabelas ;)

Hey huskertko if you get a p/t job and a discount on hunting/fishing gear can i just send you my Christmas List ?  ;D

Lets cross one bridge at time, I first need to get hired, then MY christmas list will change dramatically ;)

I just went to work yesterday at Academy as manager of the hunting & fishing department

Good luck ! I sure hope you get the job........but either you get the job or not the BaitMonkey will be there to met you with open arms.

i wish you luck and good vibes....i hope you get it

YOU ARE TOAST! ;D  I have a friend that worked at Cabellas part time for two years in KC.  He had to quit, because he couldn't afford it any more.  The bait monkey is ten fold when you work there.  Good Luck, anyway.

Good luck, huskertko. A BPS is supposed to open about three miles from my house next year, so I know how you feel.

I once had a summer job in a kitchen and spent an entire weekend doing nothing but cooking bacon. I couldn't look at or smell bacon for months afterward. Maybe a similar thing will happen to you and all that good stuff in the store.

If you get the job, make sure you tell all of us Metro KC boys and girls so we can come by and take advantage.  You did say something about discounts for BassResource.com members?  Didn't you?  I could have sworn . . . . .  ::)

Good luck and dont mention me or Avid it might hurt your chances I would also avoid mentioning LBH ;D ;D

Thanks for all the good vibes,  I get a second interview next week

Second interview !!

Way 2 go.

Don't forget to pass along important info.  Namely what specific items are hard to keep in stock.  When I met Stansdwarf8 at the BPS in Orlando, We couldn't find any toads in watermelon candy.  Guess why?  ;)
