Consolidating hellos

Featured Replies

We've sure got a HUGE number of new members here, and rather than choke up the forums with a bunch of little "welcome" messages, I'm saying HELLO and WELCOME to all the new guys.  You've found a great site for information and people to meet good people.  Just when you think this site can't get better, it will, as can be seen by having Doug Hannon here.  Have fun, ask questions, tell stories, and don't listen to a thing that Muddy Man says...hehe

(Ok, so ya's caught me...I'm just being lazy with this post....)

I think that an Introduction/Welcoming Sticky would really be the way to go.

EDIT:  Forgot to add, WELCOME EVERYBODY!!!!!!!!

Well, I kinda see your point. After you have been around here awhile all the "Welcome Aboard" gets a little redundant. On the otherhand, when you first join and you're brand new, it's kinda nice to get recognized by a bunch of the "old farts."

Suggestions for improving the site are welcome and appreciated. I will be sure to point this thread out to Glenn in case he missed it, but for now a hardy WELCOME is still in order:

To all new and old members:  Welcome aboard! and Happy New Year!

Well since I dont know if I missed anyone Im gonna tag team here too WELCOME TO ALL OUR NEW COMERS

I will get in here too....WELCOME TO ALL!!!!

OOh OOH me too mr. kotter,,  ;D ;D ;D

Welcome to all the newbies.....  I guarantee you have found the best bass fishing site on the net....

uh oh, i don't want to be left out!

WELCOME EVERYBODY!!!

Panamokabassin once again shows that he has a knack for putting thoughts into words.

I too get weary off all the "welcomes" but like RW points out when the newbie is you, it means alot.

Fourbizzle, ever the intellegent observer with excellent suggestions.

I don't know what the answer is, but I can't help but wonder if there isn't a better way.

Or am I just being lazy?

Nah, not me.....nope, never never nev.....

I used to do a lot of welcomes, but with the sudden influx of new members over the last 4-6 months that's a lot of welcomes. I agree that it is important to welcome our new members and make them feel like they are at home and that they belong. I think I agree with bizzle here, a "welcome" sticky could be in order.

Oh yeah and to all the new guys...welcome to the best bass fishing forum in all of everdom! Make yourselves at home and feel free to ask any questions you may have as many people here are very fre with answers and love to help a fellow angler. Remember to read the FAQs section and enjoy the site!
