Do these things work?  I think they are a little pricey at 3.25 a piece, but if they really don't get hung up it would be worth it.  Anybody use them?  I fish a rock bottom snag infested river often and a lot of standing flooded timber, always looking for some way to loose less rigs.

I have tried them and similar string or cord weights without any

noticeable improvement in a river environment. Two thumbs down!

I suggest giving them a try and then letting us know what happens.

Depending on the bottom structure, they may or may not work just as good as other options.

I had already purchased two 1/2 ounce sizes that I plan to use in the lake.  I think I'll stick with the bullet weights for the river, those little crevices in the rocks are hard on line and rigs anyway.  I would hate to lose a 3 dollar weight.

I bought one pack, lost them in a weekend to snags.   I had worse luck with them than with other weights.

I can't see them being very useful for bass fishing, unless you're trolling.  They do work well when trolling.

i bought a pack and never used them, but after sitting in my box for three years i found they make good practice plugs for the backyard.
