I know a couple of techniques and styles, like regular texas rigged worms and wacky worm finnese fishing, and i also know how to use flukes. what are some other soft plastic techniques that i should know about?

look up the drop shot rig. I caught alot of fish on that this year. im sure the site has an article on it.

Learn to fish jig head worms - spotsticker, spot remover, slider heads.  They each have their own application.  Trick worms are effective also and did anyone mention the Senko.  I think you will find articles on all known fishing techniqes on this site.  If you are frozen in now is the time to read.

I've heard that u can rig up a tube without a weight and put an earplug in it and fish it like a wounded shad or jerk bait.
