South America......Peacock Bass Fishing!!! ::)

Though I've never been these places myself, I am very sure that the following are great destinations for bassin':

Castaic California

Lake Fork (I think I know some people going there...)

1000 lakes area NY

Lake Mead

Lake Sam Rayburn (although I understand its on the decline...)

Do some searches on Expedia and I'm sure you'll find a package deal for any of these areas...

Good luck, and let us know which you pick

Mexico, El Salto or Baccarac.

The amazon for peacocks.

If you're just graduating from high school you might want to stay in the USA.  Maybe Orlando area (so much to do there), and fish the Harris and Kissimme chain of lakes, and of course Toho.  Lots of guide services around there.

GO TO STICKMARSH!!!! Book a trip with one of the experienced guides at Stick Marsh, you will almost defenitely catch a 10 lber.  I have never gotten a guide trip there but I have been there 3 times and on my second trip I caught a 10 lber. It was awesome, and a guide will be able to put you on a ton more fish, and the Florida weather is great for fishing especially in the summer.

i am in the same position a mafishing21 and I was thinking about going for peacocks and such in south america. Does anyone know when the rainy season is down here? Also, anymore ideas on where to fish (doesnt have to be bass) would be great.
