I use 5/0 tru-turn on my 10 inchers.  Works fine.

John, I think 5/0 should be a minimum on 10". Standard Off set in the grass so that the shank is a bit closer to the worm and comes thru the thick stuff a bit better. EWG for everything else and might look into the old sluggo Hooks.

Strike King Saber Point Hook Round Bend Offset 5/0  ;)

I have both Gammie 5/0 offsets or Eagle Claw lazer sharps in the same size.  I've gone up to 6/0 on some occasions if the fish were hitting the lure weird and causing the worm to get balled up on the throat resulting in poor hook penetration.

For my 10.5" old monster worms I use a Owner 7/0 offset oversize worm hook.  They are on Tackle Warehouse if you are interested.

Cool, thanks for the info.  My Gander has 6/0 and 7/0, I'll grab a couple of packets next time there.
