Booyah Boo Jig

Featured Replies

I have been watching videos and reading articles about jigs.  So i went to bass pro and looked at the selection.  Wow. I though i knew exactly what i needed but i was wrong. so many to choose so here is what i am thinking.  What do yall think:

Booyah Boo Jig - 1/2 oz - blue/black - Yum chunk trailer

not sure if that is the right weight tho... any opinions

Sounds like a good setup.  I think the highest weight 7/16 oz.  On the Yum chunk trailer I would use a Netbait Paca chunk guys on this site of a lot of confidence in them.

8-)

1/2 oz. is good all around weight. 3/8 also. Fippin you might want to go heavier.

Can't go wrong with black and blue. I like the rage craw and chigger craw for trailers. Football haeads for casting.

Paca craw for me, not paca chunk. Blue/black muddy water, Black/red in stained water.Just my opinion.

The Booyah jig is a good, with a good hook, skirt, and head. I have 100's of them, and while they are not my favorite jig anymore, I still use them with confidence. The yum chunk is also a decent trailer, you'll do fine with this combo. A 1/2 oz. black/blue jig is a pretty versitile lure, you made a good choice.
