Wasn't aware there was such a thing.

I was reading about it last night on their site.  I was wondering the same thing.

Tackle Warehouse says there would be shipping charges at our cost...

I will wait for the reviews on Tackletour.com

Although I haven't tried it, it seems like a fine offer to me.

The charge covers the shipping both ways.

You can get up to four Diawa's for one flat rate and see how you like them for a solid week. That means you could have Zillion, a Fuego, a Sol and an Advantage in your posession for a whole week. That seems like 20 bucks well spent to me.

I think its an awesome idea and I am glad they have the resources to provide this neat offer.

Rent-A-Reel: what a deal.

genius idea, hopefully they will do it with rods since different manufacturers rate their rods differently, a shimano medium is alot stiffer than a kistler medium

Yea, I think it sounds very tempting . . . .but I bet eventually I'll get a reel that I might "Forget" to send back - darn bait monkey strikes again . . . . . TW might be smart to hide a tiny little monkey in the packing - sure wouldn't hurt sales any 8-)

A demo program with rods would be really great and worth every penny.

Tackle Warehouse offers a bunch of rods that I do not have easy access to and I think you should always at least hold a rod before buying it.

I just bought a rod off of Tackle Warehouse without trying it and luckily, I fell in love with it immediately and it balanced with my favorite reel quite nicely.

But it could have very well ended up the other way.
