I was thinking of getting some of the craws.I did see them at a seninar last weekend.It looks like a cool craw.Have any of you used this craw? And what colors do you like? Do you fish these craws on a T-only?   : : :)

I like the baby craw better than the large one. We use them on a shaky head or spot remover for spots and smallmouth. My favorites are mostly the greens and pumpkins for clearer water and the darker colors for stained.

The craws have great action on the fall, but they fall over on their side on the bottom. I mostly use it to fish around objects or bridge pilings for more aggressive fish (ones that will hit it on the fall). It does not do as well in a true finesse slow crawling presentation.

The paca craw is a pretty neat bait.  I use the chunk anytime I'm fishing a jig, but I've used the craw a little bit.  The thing I like about them is how bouyent the claws are, so they arch up like a real craw, but I also like how they flap when you pull them through the water.

I bought the chunks first as jig trailers then tried the craws T-rigged.  Now, I don't even use the chunks and put the baby craws on jigs as trailers.  I prefer these due to their hollow body.  That nose cavity is perfect for stuffing a round rattle into.  I also prefer a bit longer profile with my jigs for the stained water I fish most times.  I do take all the craws out of the package when I get them home from the store and repack them making sure they are all laying flat and straight.  

I T-rig the bigger PCs.  If you have access to a swimming pool, pitch a T-rigged one in and watch the amazing action of their pinchers! 8-)

While I have not tried the craw worm yet I can tell you the jig trailer works very well.

everyone talks about how they fall over when they hit the bottom when t-rigged...Has anyone ever stuffed a foam ear plug into the hollow body to remedy this?  Great bed fishin bait!

I've been sold on the craws and chunks for a couple years now.I fish both the regular and baby on a t-rig and c-rig.There are alot of plastics that catch fish and the Paca is one of em'.I use mostly green pumkin.On my jigs I only use 2 different types of trailer,the old style chunk and the Paca chunk.

Yum and other companies are coming out with their versions.Usually when other companies try to copy a lure,it's a good one.

They have a smaller Tiny Paca Craw coming out very soon.

Should be killer on smallies and spots.

Yes, it does but that is a T-rigged Paca Craw using a Florida Gambler screw-in weight.

This might be a better angle?
