Home Water

Featured Replies

What would ya'll consider your home water? No matter where I live I think I'll always consider the Paris Landing area down to Pickwick dam on Kentucky Lake as my home water.

Mine would be Cave run Lake.   Igrew up fishing there and learned what little I used to know from that water.

I"ve lived practically on the shore of Kentucky Lake for the past 10 years, but my "home water" will always be Lake Erie/Presque Isle Bay out of Erie, Pa. :)

I dont have a home water any more,I have been in tn. only 3 yr.and dont have a home lake yet,It was snipatuit lake in ma.But not any more.

Lake of the Ozarks though I don't fish it anywhere near like I used to.

I guess I am in the same general area as cart7.

I grew up with my dad in the Air Force and I am currently in the Air Force. I haven't lived anywhere long enough to really have a "home water".

Right now, stationed at Whiteman AFB MO, I would have to go with Hazel Hill Lake near Warrensburg for smaller water and Truman lake for big water.

Oak Hallow Lake near Greensboro, NC.

a small (5-10 acre ) public pond that is only reguarly fished by maybe 10 people, located in southern delaware.pretty good bass fishin for my neck of the woods,,,also a 1/4-1/5 acre farm pond that belongs to my grandfather down the road from my house were i really started and caught my first fish and its got ton of blue gill and we recently tryed stocking it with various other species

Old Hickory Lake for sure. Been fishing there since I was old enough to hold a rod

My grandparents' pond at their house. Don't know exact sizes but I'd guess it's maybe a few acres.

I've still yet to get out on a proper lake.
