Where are they all hiding?!?!

Featured Replies

I fish about every day, and about every day I pull in 2-5 bass.  I went to a new lake, Cane Creek Park in Waxhaw, NC this weekend and fished for SEVEN HOURS!!!!!!   Not one strike!!!!!  I was very upset. Does anyone ever fish Cane Creek Park?  Any suggestions on locations of the lake or lure type?  It is a trophy lake and the walls are FULL of 14, 15, 16 pound bass caught there.  I just can't understand it.

my only suggestion is go again, you cant base the population or size of the bass in a lake by just one outing,it takes time to get a pattern and find what they want, also there are days they will refuse to bite.i fish on a 5-10 acrea pond and have had days were weve been out for almost 8 hours and not caught a fish.condiering the size of this pond to that lake you can tell that somtimes the fish wont bite because i know the pond and the fish in that ponfd like the back of my hand and still get skunked its park of the sport and its called fishing not catchin  ;)
