where in this lake would u fish

Featured Replies

i fish a lake that is very clear and has little cover. The water is very low and there are planted vegitation patches in some coves . the alke is about 280 fet at deepest. there are humps, flats, points, and any other structure u can imagine. when the wind blows the water has plenty of visible mud lines that i see tons of baifish sitting in on the clowdy sideclosest to the shore.

i was wondering if u cul tell m or give me any ideas on where summer bass will be hideing.

i know where to fish for summer bass ut i was just wonring if anone had any simmalar thughts as me

thank u and god bless

It sounds as though this lake does not have a bad place to fish so there should not be any problems... When it is hot you obviousley will want to go deeper, and just try to find where the bass are laying. This is all that ive got...

Yep! Yep! Yep!

The thing with a clear water lake is boat handling...if the water is really clear you have to be careful about everything! where you cast you shadow, where the boat is...you cannot sneak up on the fish when the water is clear and if the see you coming...

Long casts and count your lure down before you begin your retrieve. Throw beyond the baitfish and work your lure under the baithfish and into deeper water. Like already said, be careful not to get to close. Keep the baitfish just inside of casting range.
