shakey head

Featured Replies

is the shakey head rig really good will it produce me lots of fish????

is the original shakey head wom better or a ribbon tail worm on a shakey heat?

or will both produce lots of fish? thankz

A good shakey head is the Buckeye Spot Remover pro model.  A worm would be the Roboworm zipper shakin worm in aarons magic.  in the end the shakey head is a great fishing technique that produces a lot of fish.  both worms should produce great #s of fish.

the shakey head I prefer a football or ball head... With a zoom finesse worm or roboworm

The "Shaky Head" has been around for a long time. It is a great way to fish a bottom bouncing soft plastic lures. It has advantages over the traditional Texas rig. It keeps the tail of the bait pointing upward thus resulting in better presentation. Better presentation should reward you with more bites. My favorite is the football style shaky head made by Bass X jigs.

A Spot Remover head is not a shaky head. It is a stand up head. Not knocking the Spot Remover at all....I use them all the time.

I think the new Gamakatsu Skip Gap Shaky Heads are going to be a big hit this year. I bought a couple packs a few weeks ago, just couldn't resist.

the gambler giggy head is a good choice. the great thing about shaky heads is that you can fish anything on em. just make sure whatever softplastic you use floats. throw it around shallow wood, rocks, stumps. shake n' bake and hold on!  :)also works great in deep water.
