WELCOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Are you fishing a lake or river ?

YOU need to provide much more info, the guys here will help you but, We need water clarity, name of the lake to google and take a look at, boater non-boater, current lake levels, what you are good at right now as far as throwing baits would help too!!!!

Welcome

Fish however you normally catch fish this time of year and fish your strengths.

Don't fish how other people are if its not your thing.

And remember you may see the only fish they catch all day so stay with your plan and pattern you're confident in it

Good Luck

There are also lots of threads here on ideas for prespawn

SMITHVILLE: 40 degrees, fairly clear, normal. Outlook: Burton's Bait and Tackle reports: Crappies fair off the marina docks and in the coves.

It is Smithville lake Smithville MO just north of KC . I am fishing as a non-boater.

Welcome to the boards. Good luck on the tourney. Do you have any idea of what the boater is going to use.

Never been there but thought about fishin that tourney series. Cabelas in KC had Hot Spot topos for Smithville the last time I was there.

Good Luck  :)

I'll be fishing in this tournament as well, i'm assuming its the same one, unless there is more than one next weekend.  I'm going to see how the tournaments go this weekend before I make any big decisions on what i'll be using.
