I love my pointers! I have this new thing where I get to buy a pointer once per paycheck since they are so expensive lol. Worth it though, I have caught more fish on that even just deadsticking it as a search bait then any other hard bait in my box. Color doesnt matter really, Ive caught bass on a brown trout pointer 100sp when there is no trout in the whole lake. Its all about the action. I really like the staysee v2 as well, if you want something dives down a bit deeper. Sammys are great too..you really cant go wrong with lucky craft!

I use a lot of jerk baits and probably like the xrap best.  That being said, any jerk bait I've bought catches fishes.  Lately I've been using one that I really like. 1/2 the price of the xrap and just as productive.
