I would call BPS. And get a replica mounted, and call the companies who's products I was using and see what I could get.

I really couldn't tell you what I would do until I caught the fish, Right now I could say that I would take a picture, weigh it, and release it, but when it really did happen, I might get greedy and cash it in...

Said it before and I will say it again I hope the next WR is caught by some kid using night crawlers and a Zebco 33 combo! ::)

Muddy, You're not going to catch the world record!!!

;) ;D

THAT"S JUST NOT RIGHT

I'd pull her out of that water, keep her alive as best I could, donate her to a local museum/aquarium/etc. and cash in on the record like nobody's business!

Talk shows?  You bet!

Sponsorship deals?  As many as I could wrap my greedy little hands around.

A book deal detailing the momentous event and my overall love for the sport?  Boy, I sure hope so!

;)

I would have to say that I would certainly mount the fish and take as many pictures as I possibly could.  Then I would probably call every single one of my fishing buddies and demand that they come to the house to look at the monster!  ;D
