Most important - don't forget the missus

Featured Replies

I would be totally remiss if I didn't mention that many Moms like to fish - of course expect to have them catch the most and the biggest.

Let's hear it for the ladies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I only have one: 40 years now, and she just doesn't like fishing. However, she has never been anything but supportive of my fishing career.

On a charter down in the gulf, my wife kicked everyone's butt. She caught 6 red snapper (nearly the biggest too) a 13 lb grouper, a 3 ft kingfish and had a 5 ft kingfish hooked but someone grabbed the line and it broke (not me  :))

As much as it pains me to admit this... my sister Amy almost always outfishes me when she comes out. I fish with her boyfriend Joe a lot, and any time Amy tags along she usually beats the both of us, whether it's numbers or pounds.

And all she ever throws is a watermelon/black flake senko!

Mike Waterman?

An appropriate last name for someone that loves to fish, don't you think? :D

Great pics GW, keep em comin!

Wow!

Super pics.

I guess the fish have no idea who is holding the rod and reel in the boat.  ;D

My grandma used to catch the biggest fish all the time.

Nice bass!!!

George, that's just downright good stuff. But we need to remember that if all women liked to fish as much as those gals do, there would be absolutely no room on any body of water for fishing.  Only bumper boats... ;D

Big O

Though I don't have a wife, my current girlfriend has gotten into fishing almost as much as I have.  I've been trying to pass over all the stuff I have learned here and over the last few weeks it's been paying off big time for her.  She is a quick learner and started loving the fluke.  She caught herself an awesome 3 1/2 pounder (she has one upped me and actually bought a scale) the other day.  She was stoked and so was I.  I love that she goes out with me, but if I'm not careful she will pass me up soon!

Plus, she actually lives on Lake Norman in Charlotte, NC.  I think I need to pack up and move in with her.  :P

Definitely can't forget the ladies!
