You only wish you could catch small bass.  That's right.  I have seen your giant bluegill-imitation eating monster.  NO skill there.  Nope.  None.  Zero.  

Plus, the fish in that picture above was at least 15 pounds.

Not much of a largemouth fisherman though. Biggest was weighed on a hand held scale at 8.2 lbs., but no picture. It couldn't hold a candle to any 4 1/2 lb. smallie in a fight to fight comparison. Felt like I was pulling in an old boot! I'll stick with the small mouth bass, hands down!

Lifetime biggest from around home was a shade over 7.  Last years biggest just broke 6.

Some other notables, including one of my biggest SMB, a 4.5 pounder from '97.  The biggest SMB I've seen from around here was a 6.25 caught by an ex GF around the same time frame.  No pics, but really a spectacular fish.
