Anyone else ever watch his show? It is somewhat informative and he is  an alright angler plus very entertaining.... I don't know why but every time it is on I have to watch it....

Yup, all the time. He's a local boy. He can be seen at our local tackle shops & BPS during the classic. You're right, he is quite entertaining.

I got to watch a little bit of his show the other day. Wasnt really my cup of tea but decent over all IMHO.

I like Dave Mercer.  I Tivo several fishing shows each week and his is one of them.  I think he is informative and entertaining, but that laugh of his.....he could stand to tone that down just a bit.  Dave seems like he would be a fun guy to hang with for a day.

In his promo for this years new programs, he pokes fun at his goofy and contagious laugh.  You have to kind of like a person who does not take themselves seriously, even if they are a bit corny.

I have a friend from high school days who has always laughed like Mortimer Snerd.  Because of that, he was given the nickname of Mortimer which endures to this day.

For you youngsters, Mortimer Snerd was one of the ventriloquist, Edgar Bergan's puppet characters.  Charlie McCarthy was his headliner.

I don't know if this applies to your location but here in Ontario it's on WFN: Saturdays @ 9:30 pm

       Sundays @ 9:30 am

We just moved and our cable company doesn't offer wfn or any fishing shows,, :'(
