Solo or group fishing -- your preference

Featured Replies

I like fishing in groups its alot more funner. but when i trying to learn how to fish a new bait or a new pattern, i prefer to go alone. my buds don't have a whole lot of patience. i rember when i tried learning how to jig fish real good, i had to force my self to go to the lake by myself with nothing but my rod and jig box haha.

3. If you own a scale, I don't even want to know you.

LOL. I have been tempted to buy one. Just can't get myself to care enough. I guess maybe if I fished tourneys on a regular basis I might.

Kinda depends, where I fish. my mood..ect normally I fish with my Son, who's 34, but when we do go, I get the task of manning the dang trolling motor..lol but 99% of the time, I enjoy the company. I never fish with a group. In the old days I fished by myself at least 100 times.

Both...

When i wanna go and actully catch fish, or know im gunna be out there for awhile, 6+ hours, i go alone.

When its a beautiful day and just wanna get out and maybe catch a few, i enjoy bring a friend or 2.

On the money. I go for 6 - 7 hours sometimes. Nothing worse than after 2 hours hearing "Wanna wrap it up ?"

If I am bank fishing, then I want to be alone. The only exception to this is if its my kids. When I am fishing in a boat I want someone to be along, I think its more because I am new to bass fishing from a boat and I try to observe and learn as much as possible. Right now I am still at the point where I am more comfortable with someone else running the boat ( even if its mine ) for some unknown reason. If you put me in a center console heading offshore (saltwater)  and I would rather run the boat than fish sometimes.

I will say that my bass fishing ability has grown by leaps and bounds in the past year and I owe it to this site.

When im down and out and trying to get away i like to sit alone and fish. I dont have too many friends who fish so usualy i go alone but when im in a generous mood ill take my neighbor (IcemanSPD) along concidering i am forced to foot the bill of gas etc (HINT HINT) JK.

Being on a new lake i would probably want another person though to make it more intersting and to share the expieriance.

(Sorry for no spell check lol)
