I was at a friends house yesterday, and he showed me a copy his dad has of a book named "Bill Dance Guide to Black Bass fishing". I just thought that was cool, it had some prety good tips in it. Anyway i was wondering if anyone has seen or heard of it, and if it is still on sale?

Not sure about the book but I love Bill Dance.  Check out some of the Bill Dance blooper videos on Youtube.  He's hilarious!

I was home sick yesterday and watched an episode of Roland Martin's show.  He had Bill Dance and Johnny Morris fishing for redfish.  Martin was playing a fish and Dance was standing behind him grabbing his butt with the Boga Grips.

I would be surprised if you could still find the book.

No. Bill caught the first fish in a B.A.S.S. tourney. If he had ever been caught cheating he wouldn't be the icon he is now. Just recently he was featured in one of Bassmaster's "Day On the Lake" articles. I don't think B.A.S.S. would allow him to be in their magazine if he was known to cheat.

I have that book and still read it every now and then.  It's an excellent book with a lot of great information that is very relevant today.  It's also a bit dated and is missing some of the more modern fishing techniques and knowledge.  None-the-less if you see it somewhere buy it, very good book.
