I have been using 65lb braid with a 4 foot flouro leader.  It works really well but kind of a hassle having to retie.  Does anybody have good luck with just straight braid?

Yes, I use straight braid, no leader.

    If your still not getting bit try 20 lb. flourocarbon.  Been using it for some time now in pretty dense cover and haven't broke off a fish yet.

for me in depends on the lake i am fishing and how pressured it gets...there is one lake that they wont hit anything with braid but usually yes straight braid works

If it is heavy cover i would throw straight braid. If it is more scattered than 20lb fluorocarbon will do just fine.
