4 days prior plus 4 days after the new & full moon equals 16 days out of a 30 day monthnot exactly a narrow window.

True, but I was looking at the 97% factor. Its still interesting. IGFA records are about the same I think.

The moon phase has it's greatest affect on spawning bass or bass staging to spawn (pre-spawn). One reason the majority of giant bass are caught during that time period is; they are more susceptible to being caught when the are feeding before spawning and up in shallower water spawning.

How many Share A Lunker bass are caught during the summer, fall and winter periods during any moon phase?

Again Share-A-Lunker data is hard to figure out since it covers the entire state of Texas and early pre-spawn through spawn can cover from December all the way to Early May.
