Most Inspirational Bass Fisherman Ever - Video

Featured Replies

I was just bored and found this video on youtube. I did a search no one has mentioned him before.

I think this is wonderful.

Maybe we could have a little fundraiser for him as members for BR. I think this is a great cause. Or maybe even help him start some sort of organization in regards to this.

I was thinking of starting a rubber bracelet fund raising thing in his name but for a more overall cause, sort of like Lance and his Livstrong bracelet. Not as pity but to show our support and the same passion he has for bass fishing. What do you guys think?

Edit: You know I have said many times in my life, I can't do it. But if he ties knots and can cast and catch fish. We all can do anything if we put our mind to. I am truly in awe and respect Mr. Dyer 100%. I have been inspired.

That's amazing. Really really cool. I feel bad now about some of the things that I just quit at because I think they are too hard. This guy is amazing. Thanks for the video post

I am at a loss for words. That guy is awesome.

Clay is a good friend of ours here at BassResource.com. He is an awesome guy. If anyone ever has a chance to meet him you will totally be amazed at how cool he is.

i read an article about him in boating magazine. talked about how he ties his lures and unhooks fish. amazing what he can do.

I believe he has been mentioned before, the search features just sucks. But you're right, he is an inspiration.

I think whatever "fundraising" ideas you have, make sure you contact the man himself to see what he thinks.

Very sad.... Very inspirational too. There is another person like him named Kyle Maynard, who was born with congenital amputation but became an amazing wrestler.

Both amazing stories.

We met Clay at the 2008 FLW Cup just walking around the Vendors show. He behaved like he didn't even have a handicap. Most amazing.

I have already sent an email to SMG, I think I want to go with the Livstrong idea. See how that goes it is cheap and more people recognize something like that.

I am truly inspired within in my own life and trying to give back to others now.

I watch his video in class at my Middle School, and also in our FCA Huddle.  The kids really take a look at the things they call "problems", and soon realize how blessed they really are.  I do the same thing as well, looking at the stuff I huff and puff about, and realize, they are all small, and out of my control.  It's a very powerful testimony of faith and Clay's "Never Give Up" attitude.  He is an Amazing Man.

Thanks for reminding me about the video!
