Unusual places you'd love to fish

Featured Replies

There is nothing like the taste of forbidden fruit.

Nearly every bass fishermen at some time has fished where they shouldn't. The time to be a pioneer and search for out of the way private bass lakes or ponds is when you are young enough not to be responsible for your actions. Adults tend to be arrested. Try to get permission to fish private ponds or lakes, no harm in asking, could be painful if you don't.

Yes, and when you have a buddy that tells you that he knows of a great place to fish and that you "can" fish it, make sure he knows what he is talking about. >:( Also, if you have to cross an electric fence with cows in the field to get to the pond, chances are to shouldn't be there. Not that I speak from experience or anything. ;)

Lake Simcoe

haha its a local lake, but it has great largemouth fishing. I have fished it from a canoe but never got a bass boat over there. Free parking/launching to, it's awesome.
