Did anyone else read the emotional story in the latest bassmasters magazine regarding Bass series Elite pro Gerald swindle and the story about his brother with pancreatic Cancer. What a moving read. im not an emotional guy or very into the after life aspect but having a brother i have to admit i shed a few tears in this read. I encourage everyone who hasnt read this article yet to check it out. I for one will def be rooting for gerry swindle this year!

Just read it this morning....it definitely makes you think about how easy life can be taken. 

This was an awseome article, I did not realize what he was dealing with.  Brothers don't get any better than Gerald, the way he helped his brother do a few things (shooting a buck with a bow and another with a rifle) in life before he passed is really cool.

The fact that his brother wanted him to fish, instead of being with him was cool. I couldn't imagine having to try and do that knowing what was going on at home.

A very emotional article..It definitely hit me hard.

At a seminar, Gerald recapped those events and how he is regathering in front of a room full of bass fishermen.  It took a great deal of courage.

It's hard not to be moved by a story like that. Brought tears to my eyes.
